Hemant Taneja

Hemant Taneja is a Board Member at Corvia Medical. Hemant was previously the CEO of Health Assurance Acquisition Corporation, a company they founded in 2017. Prior to that, they were a Partner at UnHealthcare: A Manifesto for Health Assurance, which they co-founded in 2016. Hemant also co-founded Unscaled, a technology incubator, in 2015.

Taneja has also held leadership roles at Samsara, Inc., Grammarly, and Commure. Hemant was an early investor and advisor at Gusto and Stripe. Hemant is also a founding Board Director of the non-profit organization One Acre Fund.

Taneja graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University.

Hemant Taneja received a minor in biomedical/medical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in addition to their three bachelors degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, mathematics, and biology. Hemant then went on to earn their masters in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT as well. Finally, they completed their MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a concentration in operations research.
