Joe Brown

Vice President Therapy Development at Corvia Medical

Joe Brown has a long and varied work experience in the medical field. Starting in 1980, they were the Chief Technologist Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Research at Emory University. In 1991, they became the President and CEO of American Interventional Technologies. From 1998 to 2003, they were the President of Impact Medical Technologies, LLC. From 2003 to 2014, they were the VP Clinical Marketing, Global Sales at Volcano Corporation. Finally, since 2014 they have been the Senior Marketing Liason at Corvia Medical, Inc., where they support all aspects of clinical trials and commercial sales, including teaching and proctoring of physicians, and is involved in launch planning for commercialization of new products OUS. In 2022, they were promoted to Vice President Therapy Development at Corvia Medical.

Joe Brown attended Santa Fe College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary Technology/Technologist. Joe then attended the University of Florida, where they studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies.
