Alan J.

Alan J. has over 20 years of work experience. Alan started their career at Fancyscribbles in 1991 as a Graphic Artist. In 1995, they joined Iguana Entertainment as a Lead Artist on Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. Later that year, they moved to Acclaim Studios as the Director of Digital Productions, where they managed an art department of 42 artists and 4 assistant directors. In 2000, they moved to Edge of Reality as the Art Director, where they managed a studio of 40 artists. In 2009, they joined AO Design as a Senior Web Designer, providing web design, logo design, and graphic design across several projects. In 2010, they joined True Games Interactive as a Front End Web Developer, using XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and jQuery to develop website front ends for the Drupal CMS. In 2011, they moved to GameSalad, Inc. as a Front End Web Developer. In 2012, they joined CoStar Group as a Senior User Experience Developer. Finally, in 2019, they joined Corvia as a Principal Front End Engineer.

Alan J. has an extensive educational background. Alan attended Eden Prairie High School, followed by Hennepin Technical College, where they earned a Graduate degree in Advertising Art and Design. Alan then went on to earn a Certification from the School of Communication Arts in Advanced Computer Art and Animation on PC and SGI Platforms. Alan has also completed courses from Code School in Javascript, HTML, CSS, Git, Ruby, Rails, SASS, and Backbone.js. Lastly, they attended Austin Community College for Web Programming. Alan also holds an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
