Emilio Anderson, MS, ETA CPP has a diverse work experience. Emilio began their career in 2016 as a Compliance Analyst- Global Risk, Governance, and Compliance at PayPal. In this role, they completed time-sensitive and meticulous analysis of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity and suspicious financial activity across multiple jurisdictions and countries. Emilio also conducted in depth assessments of customer profiles and large amounts of data to ensure normal and expected activity, including Acceptable Use Policy adherence and Know Your Customer efforts. In addition, they served as a Cultural Liaison- Seller Risk Operations, where they developed initiatives to drive PayPal culture forward, created a research survey to determine how to provide programs that will assist career development within the organization, and developed training modules to assist department with career development and interview skills. Lastly, they worked as a Seller Risk Analyst, where they successfully trained 8 individuals on how to properly identify and mitigate risk within Merchant/ Seller Risk Services by using best practices, presented case studies & fraud prevention materials in calibration sessions to global peers, and identified and mitigated risk and fraud for merchants utilizing PayPal. In 2019, they joined Corvia as a Risk Team Lead and Senior Risk Analyst. In 2022, they were promoted to Head of Risk Monitoring.

Emilio Anderson holds a Masters of Science in Criminology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the same university in 2013. Emilio also graduated from Creighton Preparatory School in 2008. In 2021, they obtained an ETA CPP certification from the Electronic Transactions Association.
