Johannes Wachs is an accomplished academic and researcher with a focus on network science and computational social science. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Wachs also conducts research at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna. Previous experience includes roles as a researcher at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and as a postdoctoral researcher at RWTH Aachen University. Wachs has conducted extensive research on public procurement markets and institutional corruption, utilizing advanced machine learning and network science techniques. Educational credentials include a PhD in Network Science and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Central European University, along with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Tulane University.
