Philip Baynton, PMP, currently serves as Project Team Leader for Corvus Energy, overseeing a team of Project Managers and Application Engineers across North America. With extensive experience in project management, Baynton previously held senior roles such as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Corvus Energy, successfully delivering high-value projects within the North America and Asia Pacific markets. Prior to Corvus Energy, Baynton managed prime contracts for the Canadian Coast Guard Science Vessels at Seaspan ULC and led multiple initiatives to enhance shipbuilding performance as Program Manager for the Horizontal Engineering and Program Plan. Baynton's earlier career includes significant roles at Westport Fuel Systems, where responsibilities encompassed managing engineering projects and test facilities, as well as engine development at Ricardo. Baynton holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey, a Diploma in Management Skills in Advanced Technology from Simon Fraser University, and further education from Ivey Business School at Western University.
