Mike Karbassi

Mike Karbassi is the current Chief Underwriting Officer at Corvus Insurance. Prior to this, they were the Vice President - Underwriting Manager at NAS Insurance Services from January 2015 to December 2017. Their focus there was on Technology E&O/ Cyber Liability. From 2010 to 2015, Mike was the Assistant Vice President - Content, Technology, & Services at OneBeacon Professional Insurance. There their main responsibilities were in Network Security (Cyber Liability) & Privacy Liability, Technology E&O, Media Liability, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. From 2006 to 2009, Mike worked as an underwriter at Beazley. There they focused on underwriting for Tech E&O, Network Security/Privacy Liability, MPL, and Media Liability. Before Beazley, Mike was an underwriter at American International Group from 2005-2006 where they focused on Tech E&O, Network Security & Privacy Liability, MPL, and various other E&O lines.

Mike Karbassi has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Mike also has a Graduate Certificate in Computer Information Security from Boston University and is a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
