David Schaub

David Schaub is an accomplished animation professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently, David serves as the Head of Animation and Animation Director at CoSA VFX, overseeing animation for prominent projects such as "Resident Alien" and "Umbrella Academy" since June 2021. Prior to this role, David worked as a Creative Developer, Writer, and Instructor at MovieMethods, LLC, where the 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦 ® mobile app for screenwriters was created. David’s previous experience includes serving as Animation Director at The Virtual Reality Company, contributing to cinematic VR experiences for Universal and Legendary Pictures, and a lengthy tenure at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where numerous acclaimed films, including "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Amazing Spider-Man," were produced under David’s direction. Early in David's career, significant contributions were made at Hughes Space and Communications and Video Progressions, Inc., marking the beginning of a robust career that spans decades in animation and film production. David's educational background includes studies at UCLA and Capitol Technology University.
