Gerson Francisco

Gerson Francisco is the current General Manager at Cosan. Gerson has also previously worked at Bunge, Bauducco Ltda., and Mars Brasil.

Francisco began their career at Bunge in May 2013, where they served as the Diretor de Consumo. In this role, they were responsible for sales operations in Brazil, reporting to the Diretor da área with a team of 330 people. Gerson professionalized the management of the channel with the implementation of a new negotiation format, control tools, activity calendar, and financial control, ensuring the increase of volume and profitability.

In January 2007, Francisco began working at Mars Brasil as the Diretor de Vendas. In this role, they were responsible for sales operations in Brazil, reporting to the Gerente Geral with a team of 480 people. Gerson reorganized the sales structure by defining roles, responsibilities, and critical performance indicators. Gerson also developed the sales strategy and defined models of distribution and organizational structure. Lastly, they developed management tools and implemented the Scorecard by client, region, channel, and automated information systems.

In their current role as General Manager at Cosan, Francisco is responsible for leading the company’s overall operations.

Gerson Francisco has a MBA in Business Administration and a degree in Social Communication specializing in Advertising and Propaganda from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná.
