José Alexandre Scheinkman

Graduated in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a master's and doctorate from the University of Rochester. In addition, Mr. Scheinkman holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics. He is Professor at Columbia University and Theodore A. Wells '29 Professor of Economics (Emeritus) at Princeton University. Member of several research groups and associations, including the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance. He received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from Université Paris-Dauphine in 2001. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Europlace Institute of Finance (Paris), of the National Academy of Sciences, of the American Finance Association and of the Academic Council of INSPER. Previously, he was vice president of financial strategies at Goldman, Sachs & Co.,
