Luis Vegerano

Director of Engineering at CoSchedule

Luis Vegerano is currently the Director of Engineering at CoSchedule. Prior to this, they worked as a PHP Application Developer for Grizella, LLC from September 2013 to May 2015. There, they were responsible for developing a real-time web application using NodeJS, designing relational databases, developing CRM for real-time applications using AngularJS, and maintaining a subscription-based billing system, database, and payment gateway. Luis also worked as a Software Developer for Iteris, Inc. from January 2013 to September 2013 where they played a key role in the development of a $1.5M project sponsored by the National Academy of Science, Strategic Highway Research Program II. Luis's responsibilities included developing and implementing web applications for data ingest and analysis, working with PostgreSQL to archive nationwide traffic incident data, formulating methods that utilize maps and GIS data ranging from traffic incidents to weather for data charting utilizing HighChartsJS, and working with MVC and CMS applications developed in PHP.

Luis Vegarano has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Minot State University and is certified from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Luis Vegerano works with Chris St. Amant - Senior Product Designer, Chris Harwood - Support Operations Lead & Escalated Support, and Samantha Albrecht - Product Designer. Luis Vegerano reports to Shannon Wiedman, Head of Product.
