Aaron McCoy, CSP

Aaron McCoy, CSP has over 30 years of experience in various roles related to environmental health and safety. Aaron is currently working as the Associate Director of Environmental Health and Safety and Facility Maintenance at Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at G&W Laboratories. Aaron also served as an Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer at Actavis. Earlier in their career, Aaron held positions such as Maintenance Planner/Site Safety Team Leader at CELGARD, Route Supervisor/Safety Coordinator at SafeWaste Corporation, and Foreman of Industrial Services/Hazardous Material Response at Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. Aaron began their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Specialist.

Aaron McCoy, CSP has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Aaron also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Manufacturing Systems from East Carolina University. In addition, they have an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Technology from Central Piedmont Community College.

Aaron has obtained several certifications in their field. Aaron is a Certified Safety Professional, which they received from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in September 2016. Aaron is also a Certified Senior Technology Manager (CSTM), obtained from The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering in August 2008. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt from East Carolina University, although the date of obtaining this certification is not specified.
