Serge Ilin-Schneider has extensive work experience in the legal and pharmaceutical fields. Serge is currently serving as the Sr. Vice President, Corporate Development, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Serge previously worked as the General Counsel at Wockhardt USA.

Prior to these roles, Serge held positions at Par Pharmaceutical as the Director and Associate Director of Intellectual Property & Regulatory Counsel. Serge also worked as an Attorney at Fox Rothschild LLP and Locke Lord LLP. Before entering the legal field, Serge served as a Scientific Advisor at Morgan & Finnegan, LLP.

Serge's early career involved research positions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where they conducted independent research on nuclear magnetic resonance and X-ray crystallography, with a focus on epigenetics and autoimmunity. Serge has published as a coauthor in reputable journals such as Nature and Molecular Cell. Serge also worked as a Research Assistant while pursuing their PhD thesis at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, and as a Teaching Assistant during their time at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Serge Ilin-Schneider has an impressive educational background. Serge obtained their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. After that, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating with honors in 2012.

Prior to their doctoral studies, Serge completed their undergraduate and master's degrees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1995 to 1999. Serge achieved the highest distinction of summa cum laude in the combined fields of Biophysics and Biochemistry.

In addition to their extensive educational qualifications, Serge has obtained certifications in their professional field. Serge is a Registered Patent Attorney accredited by the United States Patent & Trademark Office since 2007. Serge is also admitted to practice before several district courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York. Furthermore, Serge is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bar.
