Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith, CLEE has extensive experience in security and law enforcement, starting as a Police Officer in the Washington CH Ohio Police Department in 1982. Kevin progressed through various roles, including Chief of Police at Wilberforce University Division of Police, Police Lieutenant at Columbus State Community College, and Security Manager at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Most recently, they served as the Senior Director of Safety & Security at COSI - Center of Science and Industry.

Kevin Smith, CLEE has an extensive education history in criminal justice and law enforcement administration. Kevin obtained their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbus State Community College in 2014. In addition, they have also completed various executive leadership certifications, including the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) program focused on senior leadership. Throughout their career, Kevin has also pursued specialized training in areas such as adult and juvenile corrections, as well as obtaining their Ohio Peace Officer Certification from O.P.O.T.A.
