Sebastian Bending is a Research Engineer currently employed at Cosimmetry since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sebastian worked as a Research Engineer at Improbable from May 2022 to January 2023. Sebastian's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Experimental High Energy Physics obtained from UCL between 2015 and 2020, during which time research focused on neutrino oscillation parameters as part of the NOvA experiment. Additionally, Sebastian co-developed the FNEX software analysis framework for neutrino oscillation analyses. Earlier experiences include positions as a Research Scientist at DESY in 2014, where adaptation of serial crystallography techniques was performed, and as an Assistant Lab Technician at both the University of Bath and an unnamed university. A Master’s Degree in Physics was also earned at UCL from 2011 to 2015.
