Alma Akkerman

Alma Akkerman is a seasoned psychologist and behavioral scientist with extensive experience in various roles. Since September 2020, Alma has served as the owner and psychologist at Bureau Bloeiwijs. Concurrently, Alma has been with Cosis since January 2016 in various capacities including behavioral scientist, researcher, and research coordinator. Alma also held a teaching position at Hanzehogeschool Groningen in 2019 and completed a PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focusing on job satisfaction among individuals with intellectual disabilities in sheltered and integrated work settings. Prior work includes roles as a behavioral scientist at Promens Care and a researcher at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Alma's education includes two Master of Science degrees, one in Psychology and another in Business, both from the University of Groningen.
