Julia Cosma

Julia Cosma is a dedicated biomedical engineering student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science from 2020 to 2025. Currently serving as a Software/Mechanical Engineering Intern at Cosm Medical since May 2023, Julia has a diverse background in product development and research. Past experiences include roles as a Neural and Rehabilitation Engineering Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, and multiple internships at Trudell Medical International, where Julia contributed to the industrial design and verification of respiratory devices and micropumps. Additionally, Julia's research experience spans from developing surgical devices at Robarts Research Institute to working on wearable mechatronic systems at Western University.
