Game Designer at Cosm

Jacob Lofgren has a varied work experience, beginning in 2017 as a Unity 3D Developer for GMetrix LLC. In this role, they developed software simulation environments using the Unity Game Engine and created practice-testing content for various programs. In 2019, they took on a role as a 3D Animator for Star Wars Theory - VFX Crew, where they were responsible for 3D animation and motion-capture cleanup, as well as motion-capture pipeline development. In 2020, they became a Virtual Production Producer for The Brute Squad, where they implemented 3D graphics into film production in real-time using Unreal Engine, and was also responsible for the setup of LED volumes and Greenscreen for Virtual production. In 2021, Jacob began working as a Game Designer for Cosm, where they are responsible for designing and prototyping games and immersive interactive experiences on massive LED domes, and implementing state of the art hardware and software solutions in LED dome venues for Virtual Production and Real-time entertainment. Jacob also took on a role as a Technical Artist for Threat Tec.

Jacob Lofgren graduated from Utah Valley University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects.
