Katy Yudin

Senior Director, Studio Development at Cosm

Katy Yudin has over 15 years of experience in the media, technology, and education industries. Katy began their career in 2006 as a Marketing Manager for BrainPOP, a K-12 education company. In 2008, they became a self-employed Marketing Consultant for K-12 Education. In 2010, they were a New Media Master's Student at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, researching "Enhancing the Documentary with Data Visualization". From 2011 to 2014, they were an IDFA DocLab Web Editor for the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), a Freelance Digital Producer for Melcher Media and Future of StoryTelling, an Editor/Creative Producer for Submarine, and a Curator/Creative Producer for Future of StoryTelling. In 2019, they became the Director of Strategic & Cultural Partnerships for ARTECHOUSE. In 2021, they joined Cosm as the Director of Studios Development and Senior Manager of Studios Development. At Cosm, they are responsible for building end-to-end solutions for immersive experiences, including the physical design, engineering, and manufacturing, as well as the software, display engine and content needs to deliver immersive experiences at scale.

Katy Yudin began their educational journey at Binghamton University, where they obtained a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Spanish between 2002 and 2005. Katy then attended the Universitat de Barcelona in 2005 to study Spanish Language, Culture, Cinema and Architecture. In 2007, they completed a course in Brand Development and Positioning at New York University's Continuing and Professional Studies program. Finally, Katy obtained an MA in Media & Culture (New Media track) from the University of Amsterdam in 2010-2011.
