Director Of Education And Training at COSMED - The Metabolic Company

Kevin Jessop has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kevin began their career in 1999 as a Business Manager, Swim Coach, and Personnel Manager at Freestyles, Ltd. Kevin implemented a new training program for a swim team and created the organization's first website.

In 2001, Kevin joined Accumed Diagnostics as a Manager, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, service, and billing for the startup medical diagnostics company. Kevin also performed Cardiopulmonary and Pulmonary Function Testing in physicians' offices.

From 2002 to 2003, Kevin served as the Vice President of Clinical Services at CPX inc. Here, they developed and implemented a training program for the startup diagnostic testing company and created a program for analyzing and interpreting Cardiopulmonary and Pulmonary Function Testing.

Kevin then joined Met-test in 2003 as the Director of Clinical Services. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing an interpretation algorithm for Cardiopulmonary and Pulmonary Function Tests, managing a team of Exercise Technologists, and conducting Physician Education Seminars.

From 2008 to 2013, Kevin held multiple roles at Cosmed USA. Kevin started as a Clinical Application/Product Specialist, then became the Installation and Training Manager for Cardiopulmonary. Later, they served as the Education and Training Coordinator and finally as the Applications and Training Manager. Kevin managed the applications and training team, coordinated customer visits, and developed training programs for both internal and external customers.

In 2013, Kevin joined Apple as part of the Health Technologies team. Kevin developed testing methods and procedures for the Health and Fitness features of the Apple Watch, working as a cross-functional team member of research and development.

Finally, since 2017, Kevin has been the Director of Education and Training at COSMED Srl.

Kevin Jessop attended the University at Buffalo from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
