Katariina Rantanen

CEO, founder at CosmEthics

Katariina Rantanen has an extensive work experience. Katariina started their career in 2002 as an Investment Manager at Holtron Ventures, a Finnish venture capital firm. In 2004, they took on a role as Assistant Professor, Acting at Svenska Handelshögskolan and also began working as an Entrepreneur and Founder at Mimosa Jewels. In 2009, they became a Business Advisor at Enterprise Helsinki, and in 2013 they founded CosmEthics, where they currently serve as CEO. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various projects such as teaching and examination of the undergraduate course Entrepreneurial Processes at HANKEN, developing a new MBA track on "How to do Business" for scholars with a non-business background, and managing three funds investing in seed- and start up stage ICT companies.

Katariina Rantanen attended Hanken School of Economics from 1998 to 2002, where they earned an M.Sc in Entrepreneurship. Katariina also attended Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu, SYK from 1987 to 1997, where they completed the Matriculation exam.
