Angela Guerra

Angela Guerra has extensive experience in the field of product safety and regulatory affairs. Angela began their career as a Technical Department Coordinator, Consultant, and Auditor at SERVICIOS NORMATIVOS S.A. from 2005 to 2007. Angela then worked as a Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety Technician at Confederación de Empresarios de la Provincia de Cádiz from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Cosmewax S.A. as a Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Manager, and later became the Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Director in 2015, a role in which they reported directly to the CEO. During their time at Cosmewax S.A., Angela developed expertise in toxicology and global regulations, performed safety assessments for cosmetic products, and provided support to regulatory functions. Angela is also a speaker at conferences related to safety and regulatory affairs in cosmetics. Additionally, Angela worked as a Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Director at COSMESERVICE from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they were a speaker at the 2nd Annual Conference "Regulation & Safety in Cosmetics" organized by Fleming.

Angela Guerra, ERT has a diverse education history. Angela completed an Intensive Course in Dermato-Cosmetic Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2023. In 2016, they obtained a Master's degree in Toxicology and Risk Assessment from the University of Valencia, with a focus on Toxicología. Angela also completed a training course on Safety Assessment of Cosmetics in the EU at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2013. In 2011, they gained expertise in the Evaluation of Safety of Cosmetic Products from Universidad CEU San Pablo. Earlier, in 2006-2007, they pursued a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety from Servicios Normativos, specializing in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Applied Psychosociology. Angela also obtained an Auditor IRCA certification according to ISO 9001 from BM TRADA Certification Services and Timber Consultancy in 2007. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad de Córdoba, although the dates of enrollment are not provided.
