David Gurlé

David Gurlé is currently an advisor at Cosmian. David previously worked as the General Manager at Connecthings from January 2015 to December 2017. David has also worked with the CEO at Connecthings to help define and implement the company's strategy. A major challenge that they faced was to support the company's development from a product-driven to a market-driven culture. Furthermore, David led Global Partnerships and expanded the focus from beacons services providers (Aruba/HPE) to Smart Cities services providers (Cisco, Accenture) and Mobility Apps major players (Moovit, Paris Velib, Okeenea). Additionally, they signed the first-ever partnership deal in Saudi Arabia with Saudico Electronics Systems – a leading IT company with major clients in transportation, retail and airports facilities. Lastly, David stimulated cross-functional operations with Product, R&D and Sales to more efficiently work together during new product development process. David is also a spokesperson and regular conference panelist/moderator at Tech Events & Smart Cities Conferences (BPI, VivaTech, Porto Digital).

David Gurlé has a MBA in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master in Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, and a BS Engineering in Biotechnologies/Chemistry from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon.
