Mikael Liukas has a diverse range of work experience, starting with a role as a Treasury Trainee at UPM-Kymmene Oyj in 2011. Mikael then worked as an Accountant Trainee at Nokia in 2012. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Business Developer at Hello Ruby before moving on to Seriously Digital Entertainment, where they held various finance roles including Finance Controller, Finance Manager, and Senior Finance Manager from 2014 to 2022. Afterward, they joined Superplus Games as the Director of Finance from October 2022 to July 2023. Most recently, they became the Finance Director at Cosmic Lounge in August 2023.
Mikael Liukas completed high school at Etelä-Tapiolan lukio from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2016, Mikael pursued a field of study in accounting at Aalto University.

Cosmic Lounge is a mobile free-to-play puzzle games startup based in Helsinki and Stockholm. Our goal is to create games that everyone can enjoy and love playing for years. To achieve this, we extensively evaluate product-market fit throughout the whole game development process. We build games with our AI enhanced Puzzle Engine technology, which enables us to efficiently experiment, create and release game prototypes, features and content.
