Roman Volosatovs

Roman Volosatovs is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing distributed systems and performance optimization. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Cosmonic since February 2023, Roman focuses on the wasmCloud, a distributed WebAssembly execution platform. Prior to this, Roman held the same title at Profian, which was dedicated to the open-source confidential computing platform Enarx until its closure in February 2023 due to funding issues. Roman's professional journey includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Docker, Inc., where performance enhancements were a key focus, and as a Back End Developer at The Things Network, responsible for a performance-critical network server. Roman's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Software Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by a part-time degree in Music Performance.
