Scott M. Lacey

Scott M. Lacey is a seasoned visual professional with extensive experience in the magazine industry. Currently serving as Visual Director at Cosmopolitan since February 2025, Lacey has previously held the position of Deputy Visual Director at both ELLE Magazine from April 2023 to March 2025 and Cosmopolitan from July 2022 to June 2023. Prior to these roles, Lacey contributed to Hearst Magazines from April 2015 to July 2022 in various capacities, including Deputy Visual Director and Senior Visual Editor, as well as Senior Photo Editor. Earlier experience includes a position as Photo Editor at Time Inc. from November 2013 to April 2015 and Senior Photo Editor at Boston Magazine from December 2010 to November 2013. Lacey's educational background includes studies at the New England School of Photography and The Art Institute of Boston.
