Szymon Acedański

Szymon Acedański is the VP of Engineering at Cosmose. Szymon was previously the co-founder and CTO of InviNets, where they were responsible for building sensor networks. Prior to that, they were an instructor at ALX, teaching Linux Administration, Low-level Design & Programming, and customized courses. Szymon has also worked as a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at Warsaw University, where they managed hardware development teams that built large IoT platforms for low-power networking research and multi-sensor wearable data collection platforms. In addition, they have also designed and developed a state-of-the-art morphosyntactic disambiguator for inflectional languages.

Szymon Acedański earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw. Szymon also holds a Masters in Computer Science from the same school. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Geoscience at Krajowy Fundusz na rzecz Dzieci. Szymon also completed an Extended Math Programme at VIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie w Katowicach.
