Digital Art Director at Cossette

Catherine Sabourin's work experience includes various roles in the design and communication field. Catherine started their career as a Communication Intern at MASSIVart in 2013. Catherine then worked as a Graphic Designer at Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery and Galerie Peter W. Hart from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they were a Graphic Designer at the National Film Board of Canada and Pleins Écrans. Catherine also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Quebec in Montreal from 2019 to 2019. Most recently, they have held positions as a Designer at Studio Feed and as a Designer at Indépendant since 2023. Catherine Sabourin also took on the role of Digital Art Director at Cossette in 2023.

Catherine Sabourin has a diverse education history. Catherine attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2011 to 2013 and obtained a DEC degree with a focus on Art, Letter and Communication, specifically in the Art and Design field. Catherine then pursued their studies at Concordia University from 2014 to 2015, but did not complete their Baccalauréat en beaux-arts in History of Art and Design. In 2016, they studied at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole in Copenhagen for a semester abroad in Graphic Design, supported by the MEERS Bursary. From 2016 to 2019, they attended UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal and completed their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Catherine'smost recent educational experience is at HEC Montréal, where they are currently enrolled in a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) program focusing on Management – Marketing, Medias, and Brands, which will span from 2020 to 2023.
