Valeria Giletta

Valeria Giletta has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 25 years. Valeria began their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC as an Assistant Controller in 1995. This role lasted until 1996. Valeria then moved on to Price Waterhouse Coopers where they worked as an auditor from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Minerva Agricola Alimentare as a Controller, where they also served as a Project Manager for the ERP system and handled planning and forecasting. Valeria transitioned to Costa Crociere in 2005 and took on the role of Oracle Finance Project Manager for the Costa Group (Carnival Corp. Project). Valeria was responsible for analyzing and designing accounting and systems flows. From 2010 to 2011, Valeria served as the Chief Accountant for Costa Group, where they oversaw financial statement consolidation and accounting flows and procedures review. Valeria then worked as the North & South America Governance Controller for Costa Crociere from 2011 to 2014, managing finance projects and implementing new accounting flows and procedures. Valeria's most recent role at Costa Crociere is Finance Hotel Operations Director, a position they have held since 2014. In this role, they provide support to the Business unit in managing operating costs and ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Valeria also leads a team and focuses on developing specialized accounting and controlling skills.
