Diego Barahona has extensive experience in agricultural production, currently serving as Head Grower and Managing Grower at Costa Farms since April 2016, overseeing 24 acres of greenhouse production, including annuals, perennials, and hibiscus mother plants. Previously, Diego held the position of Junior Grower in Costa Color division and participated in an internship at Costa Farms, gaining knowledge in plug range production, vegetative propagation, and water management. Additionally, Diego contributed to a project at Dole Food Company aimed at identifying physiological maturity in Baby Banana, enhancing expertise in banana production and post-harvest quality. Diego holds a Licenciatura in Ciencias Agrícolas y Manejo de Recursos Naturales and a Licenciatura in Ingeniería Agrónoma y Producción Vegetal from Universidad EARTH, earned between 2011 and 2014.
