Paul Decoster

Paul DeCoster is a seasoned executive search professional with extensive experience in legal, risk, compliance, and security sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Executive Search at CoStar Group since April 2024, Paul is instrumental in establishing the firm's inaugural in-house Executive Search function. Prior to this role, Paul was the Executive Director at Sheffield Haworth, leading the functional practice group in North America for legal and compliance services from May 2021 to November 2023. With a foundational career at Marlin Hawk, Paul held several positions, including Principal and Head of Practice, where responsibilities encompassed full-cycle search execution and P&L management across North America's legal and risk sectors. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates and various legal clerkships, all underpinned by academic credentials from Fordham University School of Law and Bowdoin College.
