Steve Yu

Steve Yu is an accomplished database developer with extensive experience in database management and development across various industries. Currently serving as the Lead Database Developer at CoStar Group since February 2017, Steve focuses on database development for Commercial Real Estate Analytic Products. Previously, Steve held the position of Lead Database Developer at LPL Financial from April 2012 to February 2017, leading financial reporting initiatives with a strong emphasis on SQL Server technologies. Earlier roles include SQL Server DBA/Developer at AutoAnything and Database Administrator at Gardens Alive, where responsibilities included managing complex SQL Server environments and ensuring data quality across multiple instances. Steve began the career as a SQL Analyst at Ecova and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Master's degree in Science from Peking University.
