Denise Merkling

Denise Merkling is an experienced UX and product designer with a diverse background in leading design projects across various industries. Currently serving as a UX Designer III at Costco Travel since July 2023, Denise has previously held senior design roles at Code.org and Remitly, where responsibilities included design system management and mobile app development. Additional experience includes senior UX design positions at INRIX and Xome, focusing on usability improvements and user research. Earlier work includes creative design at Premera Blue Cross and UI design for eMedia Music, along with freelancing at Denise Merkling Design. Educational achievements include an Associate of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from The Art Institutes and a degree in Liberal Arts from Seattle Central College.
