Cosumnes Community Services District
Teri deRosier has extensive experience in the park and recreation field, currently serving as a State Board Section Representative for the California Park & Recreation Society since April 2012, where responsibilities include various leadership roles within the Aquatics Section and District 2. In addition, Teri has managed the operations of the Albiani Recreation Center at Cosumnes Community Services District since October 2017 and previously oversaw the Elk Grove Aquatics Center. Earlier career positions include Recreation Supervisor at Fulton-El Camino Park & Recreation District, Program Specialist at Girl Scouts of Tierra del Oro Council, and Waterfront Director/Counselor at El Dorado County Office of Education's Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp. Teri holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MS in Human Services, Management of Non-profit Agencies from Capella University.

The Cosumnes Community Services District serves an estimated 205,000 south Sacramento County residents in a 157-square mile area. It's award-winning parks and recreation services – including the operation of more than 95 parks – operate exclusively within the Elk Grove community. Fire protection and emergency medical services are provided for the cities of Elk Grove and Galt and unincorporated areas of south Sacramento County.
