David Jarman

David Jarman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machining and process engineering, primarily at Cosworth since April 1989. Jarman has held several critical roles, including Process Engineer and Continuous Improvement Coordinator, where efforts focused on enhancing operations in the piston shop and training newcomers. Previous positions include Quality Inspector, overseeing final inspections of F1, automotive, and aerospace pistons, as well as CNC Setter/Operator and Machinist Turner/Miller, responsible for the machining and repair of F1 parts. Prior to Cosworth, Jarman worked at Dunster Engineering and Lapointe Engineering Ltd., where the foundational skills in turning and milling were developed during an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering. Jarman's educational background includes studies at Watford College and Victoria Boys School in Watford, UK.
