Paul Van De Laar

Paul Van De Laar is the current Director of Developmental & ABI Services at Cota. Paul has over 25 years of experience in the administrative field, with a focus on stewardship coordination and executive assistance.

Paul began their career in 1985 as a Stewardship Coordinator at SickKids Foundation. Paul then spent three years as Executive Assistant at The Scarborough Hospital Foundation before moving to Lakeridge Health in 2006. In 2012, they took on a new role as Executive Assistant at the Ontario College of Family Physicians, and then transitioned to Communications and Resources for Mission at The Anglican Church of Canada in 2014. Paul joined Cota in 2016 and has been responsible for leading and developing initiatives that create social and economic value for people with developmental disabilities and their families ever since.

Paul Van De Laar attended CEGEP - Heritage Campus and Philemon Wright High School.

Paul Van De Laar reports to Paul Bruce, CEO. They are on a team with Mary Modeste - Director, People & Culture, Sylvia Starosta - Senior Director, Clinical Operations & Quality Improvements, and Matthew Chan - Director, Finance & Administration.
