Kevin MacKey

Kevin Mackey is the Co-Founder & COO at Coterie Insurance. Kevin has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Kevin has a deep understanding of the insurance landscape and the ever-changing needs of Coterie's customers.

Prior to Coterie, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer at Alveo Health, a modern clearinghouse solution for healthcare claims processing. Kevin was responsible for building scalable processes across the organization - accounting, finance, marketing, sales - as well as tracking market developments to identify new market opportunities for Alveo's product and data.

Before Alveo, Kevin was the Director - Data Solutions at Astronomer, a data engineering platform that cleanses, centralizes, and allows for scheduling and processing of massive but unified data sets. Kevin started at Astronomer in a growth operations position, building out scalable processes from inbound marketing efforts through customer success. Kevin then transitioned to become a Director of Data Solutions which involved understanding client needs, tech stacks, and desire to incorporate modern tech stacks into their infrastructure.

Kevin's experience in both the insurance and data industries make him uniquely qualified to lead Coterie into the future. Under Kevin's guidance, Coterie has become a leading provider of insurance products and services for businesses and individuals alike.

Kevin MacKey has a BS in Finance from the University of Dayton and a minor in Accounting. Kevin also attended St. Xavier High School.
