Shayron Barnes-Selby

Shayron Barnes-Selby is currently the Vice President of Government Affairs and ESG Programs at Cott Corporation. Shayron has over 25 years of experience in governmental affairs and public policy.

Shayron Barnes-Selby began their career in government affairs at McKesson Water Products Company in 1993. After four years as a manager, Shayron was promoted to Governmental Affairs Director at Danone Waters of North America, Inc. In this role, Shayron was responsible for state and federal government relations for the company.

In 2002, Shayron was promoted again to Manager of Governmental Affairs at DS Waters of America, Inc. In 2005, Shayron was promoted to Vice President of Public Affairs for DS Services of America, Inc. Shayron held this position until 2010 when they left the company.

In February 2019, Shayron Barnes-Selby joined Cott Corporation as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Environment, Social, Governance Programs. In this role, Shayron is responsible for leading Cott’s government affairs function and executing on the company’s environment, social, governance programs.

Shayron Barnes-Selby received their MEd. in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to that, they attended Dudley High School.

They work with Mercedes Romero - Chief Procurement Officer, Steven Kitching - President, International, and David Hass - Chief Strategy Officer. Shayron Barnes-Selby reports to Thomas J. Harrington, CEO.
