Ellen Kokontis

Ellen Kokontis has held various roles in the publishing industry since 2008. Ellen was Editor-in-Chief of Catch Literary Magazine in 2008, then a Copyediting & Production Intern at Sourcebooks in 2009. From 2010-2014, they were an Editor-at-Large at JK Literary Services, Inc., a Product Manager and Senior Production Editor at Publications International, and a Graphic Designer, Art Services Supervisor, and Associate Art Director at Albert Whitman & Company, Publishing Award-Winning Children's Books Since 1919. Since 2019, they have been Creative Director, Storybooks and Adult Nonfiction and Art Director at Cottage Door Press.

Ellen Kokontis began their educational journey at Lyons Township High School from 2001 to 2005. Ellen then attended Knox College from 2005 to 2009, receiving a BA in English Literature and Art Ellen'story. In 2011, they obtained a Certificate in Editing from The University of Chicago Graham School.
