Bill Carey

Bill Carey currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer at Couchbase, a position held since July 2019, overseeing critical financial operations following the company's IPO in July 2021. Prior to Couchbase, Bill held the role of Vice President of Finance at WideOrbit from 2015 to 2019 and served as Vice President, Corporate Controller at both Rimini Street (2013-2015) and Serena Software (2012-2013). Bill's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Juniper Networks from 2003 to 2012, where significant revenue growth occurred, increasing from $700 million to nearly $5 billion. Bill’s career began at Deloitte from 2000 to 2003, rising to Senior Manager after assignments in Raleigh, Buenos Aires, and Washington, DC. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
