Neil Huang

Neil Huang is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in developing distributed systems and storage solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Couchbase, Neil leads the design and development of the Cross-DataCenter-Replication (XDCR) project, focusing on high-performance and scalable platforms. Prior to Couchbase, Neil contributed to Formation Data Systems as a Software Engineer, specializing in back-end metadata and data storage. Neil's career includes roles at Hewlett-Packard, where work involved virtual volume management and developing Unix applications, and at 3PAR, focusing on test automation. Neil began the career as a Programming Specialist at UCLA while earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Networking from the same institution.
