Sudeep Jathar

Sudeep Jathar is a Principal Engineer at Couchbase since October 2021, focusing on cross data-center active-active replication between Couchbase clusters within a fast and scalable NoSQL document database environment. Previously, Sudeep served at Druva for seven years in various roles, including Senior Technical Director, where responsibilities included architecting the Phoenix product and optimizing multi-stage data pipelines in Rust for data uploads to AWS. Sudeep also contributed to cloud-based load balancing and the development of a parallel NAS scanner in Golang, while implementing practices that significantly scaled team productivity. Prior experience at Amdocs involved leadership and architectural responsibilities, including direct customer interaction and overseeing development life cycles for key components. Sudeep holds an Executive Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from COEP Technological University.
