Benjamin Monnens has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Benjamin most recently served as a Senior Vice President at Coulee Bank starting from October 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at Minnesota Bank & Trust from February 2018 to October 2020, and also from April 2014 to October 2020. Benjamin also worked as a Vice President at Signature Bank in Minnetonka, MN from April 2014 to October 2020, where they focused on building long-lasting relationships with clients. Benjamin started their career as a Commercial Banker at Peoples Bank of Commerce from April 2011 to April 2014, and earlier as a Business Banker at M&I Bank from September 2004 to February 2011. Benjamin also served as the Treasurer for the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Foundation Board from December 2013 to August 2018, where they worked towards advancing police leadership in the state.

Benjamin Monnens attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Benjamin'sstudies focused on finance, accounting, and Spanish. Prior to attending university, Benjamin Monnens completed their high school education at Shakopee High School. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained a certification from the Dale Carnegie Training in January 2015.
