Gerry Appel

Gerry Appel has extensive experience in education and media, currently serving as a Journalism and Language Arts teacher at Council Bluffs Community School District since July 2010. Prior to this role, Gerry held various positions at Ball State University, including Assistant Director of Admissions for Publications and Education Specialist from March 2006 to July 2010. Additional experience includes working as a Freelance Features Reporter for Fort Wayne Newspapers and as a News Producer at WISE-TV. Gerry also gained early media experience as an Assignment Editor at WPTA-TV. Gerry's educational background includes a degree from Ball State University, completed in 2003.
