Believing a business can be both profitable and sustainable, Zoë pursued her MBA at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business to learn how businesses can be genuinely impact-oriented. Prior to graduate school, Zoë spent four years working in data analytics at Wayfair, translating large amounts of data into actionable takeaways and easily digestible conclusions for her audience. Although this was her focus, she also contributed to Wayfair's sustainability club, helping implement a composting system throughout the headquarters. Outside of work, Zoë enjoys shopping local, yoga, and watching reruns of The West Wing.
Zoë was first introduced to sustainability during a summer internship at the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA. Understanding how everyday actions impacted the surrounding environment, and how to improve that impact, became a primary hobby and passion. Zoë decided to pursue an MBA to pivot into the sustainability space, and while at Georgetown, helped lead their Net Impact chapter, organized an educational event about B Corps, and interned with a conservation finance organization, i2 Capital. Zoë hopes to use the skills she gained from Wayfair and Georgetown to help businesses think holistically about their environmental footprint and community impact.
