Monique Tuset

Monique Tuset, MSW has a comprehensive work experience in various roles within the field of higher education and career coaching. From 2022 to the present, Monique is currently the Director of Higher Education Initiatives at CAEL, where they manage projects, conducts research, and reviews sales proposals. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2022, they worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the Coordinator of Student Affairs, where they led program management, built strategic partnerships, and designed curriculum. Monique also operated their own business, Monique Tuset, LLC, as a Career Coach from 2017 to 2022, providing career coaching, managing contracts, and establishing coaching objectives. From 2015 to 2017, they held roles at Durham Technical Community College as a College Liaison and an Instructor, contributing to the creation of learning pathways, restructuring departments, and designing curriculum. Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, Monique served as a College Adviser with the Carolina College Advising Corps at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they developed college curriculum, provided one-on-one learning plans, and maintained community partnerships.

Monique Tuset, MSW, has a diverse educational background. Monique earned their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Sociology: Health and Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Social Work degree at the same university from 2013 to 2015, specializing in Community, Management, and Policy Practice. Currently, Monique is enrolled at Fayetteville State University, working towards a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration which is expected to be completed in 2024.
