Jacquie Cohen Roth, MS, is an entrepreneur and educator in the medical cannabis industry, serving as Founder and CEO of CannabizMD and Tea Pad, both platforms dedicated to advancing industry standards and equitable access to plant-based medicine through education and professionalism. Currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Jacquie teaches courses on cannabis laws and advocacy within the Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics program. Additional roles include Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Education at CannaWorkforce, and participation in various advisory and management capacities within several cannabis organizations and committees. Jacquie holds a Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University with a focus on Economics and Policy Studies.

The Council for Federal Cannabis Regulation (CFCR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Washington, DC. The mission of CFCR is to legitimize cannabis by assisting the federal government, its regulatory agencies, and industry to rethink, develop, and implement evidence-based cannabis regulations. We do this by bringing together the stakeholders of the cannabis industry and the federal government to create a safe and sensible marketplace.
