Alastair Woods

Alastair Woods is a seasoned policy analyst and consultant with extensive experience in educational policy, design, and community engagement. Currently serving as Senior Policy Analyst at the Council of Ontario Universities since October 2018, Alastair focuses on experiential learning, skills development, and workforce innovation. As an Independent Design and Foresight Consultant, Alastair employs innovative methodologies to address complex challenges. Previous roles include Policy Advisor positions within the Ontario government and leadership in student advocacy organizations, notably with the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario. Alastair holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics and Political Science from York University.
