Krista Orendorff has extensive experience in government relations and public affairs. Krista held the position of Vice President, Public Affairs at the Council of Ontario Universities, where they developed and implemented government relations strategies and oversaw communications and marketing material. Prior to that, they worked at the Heart and Stroke Foundation in various roles, including Senior Manager, Public Affairs, where they executed government relations strategies and secured funding for campaigns. Krista also worked at the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and the Associate Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing (Urban), where they liaised with stakeholders and provided advice. Additionally, they have experience in international organizations, such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Mission to Bosnia and The Stability Pact Gender Task Force. Krista Orendorff obtained a Master of Science in Gender Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History and Political Science from St. Francis Xavier University in 1999. Additionally, Krista has a certification in Advertising and Media from the Canadian Marketing Association.
