Bart Driessen

Bart Driessen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in EU law and trade law. Since April 2002, Driessen has served as a Senior Legal Adviser at the Council of the European Union, following a tenure as a legal adviser. Prior experience includes roles as an administrator in the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU, a lawyer at Vermulst & Waer, and previous positions within the European Commission. Driessen's academic credentials include a Doctor in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven and a Doctor universitatis in International Law from Eötvös Loránd University, among other relevant degrees.
